"The original painting, 'Resilience' was inspired by the idea of space and value through color theory. 6shorty has always been drawn to the way color can be psychologically tied to mood and feelings. The piece is intended to make the viewer feel deeply connected to the experience of resilience and finding one's flow. 'Resilience,' is a communication between color, value and space. 6shorty challenged herself to dig deeper and beyond her usual color palette of magentas, warm yellows, and orange. This is a reminder that to always seek warmth through the darkness."
